Triumph Academy’s retriever training program has grown into a very therapeutic process for those who participate. Just being around a well bred and good dog has many therapeutic values to go along with everything else (responsibility, patience, work ethic, motivation, consistency, ownership, etc).
These special dogs not only have retrieving drive and instincts but have proven to be an important part of individual, family and group therapy as well. Their natural instincts to care for and please those they have bonded with makes a very smooth transition to service dog and animal therapy training.
We are very proud of our boys, their dogs and everyone involved in our retriever training program. We are also extremely grateful for all of the volunteers, professionals and retriever clubs for their continued support, assistance and efforts.
