Dedication pays off…

Here at Triumph Youth Services we have the philosophy ‘Work Hard – Play Hard’ and it has been very effective in motivating our Students. When we take a new student in,  they have a program that they are responsible for working. We believe in a non punitive environment which is controlled and measured through our Positive Peer Culture program where students work together as a group and as individuals. All of our staff are well trained and have the experience necessary to be excellent role models and examples to our students. Students also have many other responsibilities around the home and in the community. If they are working hard on their program they will be rewarded with some good old fashion FUN!

Community service is mandatory whether the student is court ordered to do community service or not. Each student must complete a minimum amount of community service hours in order to advance through the levels. Community service is very important for many reasons. Community service promotes empathy, creates growth, builds work ethic and gives students an opportunity to “give back”. When teenagers learn to serve others, they become empowered. They leave the program believing they can make a difference in the world. Making the world a better place starts by showing, and teaching adolescents how to work and how they can be part of impacting the future through volunteering.

Recently we took some of our Students on a reward trip, for their hard work and dedication.  They had a great time just being kids.
