This program specializes in substance dependence/abuse, oppositional defiance and behavior problems.
Adolescents ages 12-17 and young adults ages 18-21
Possible symptoms/issues for why your child needs our program:
- Severe addiction/dependence to drugs and/or alcohol
- Selling Drugs
- Experimentation with drugs or alcohol
- Failing other programs
- Current or previous adjudication (must be approved on a case by case basis)
- Defiance and opposition to authority
- Emotional Disturbance
- Major Changes in personality and image
- Gravitation to a negative peer group
- Displays anger/rage/frustration
- Failure to adhere to curfews
- Truancy/Tardiness from school
- Engaging in minor illegal activities such as shoplifting, tagging, joy riding, etc.
- Withdrawal from normal activities
- Extreme Selfishness
- Lack of confidence and motivation
- Lying
- Running away threats or brief running away incidents
- Promiscuity
- Body image issues
Students may have also been diagnosed with disorders such as:
- Substance Dependence
- Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
- Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD)
- Conduct Disorder (if approved by program screening process)
- Depression
- Bipolar Disorder
- Narcissism
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Mild Eating Disorder
- Mild Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Other issues may include:
- Divorce
- Death
- Abuse
- Sibling rivalry
- Adoption
Academic issues may include:
- Sudden decline in grades, attendance, or attitude
- Learning Disabilities
- Individual Education Plans (IEP’s)
- Poor organizational and study skills
- Disruptive behavior in the classroom
- Lack of motivation
- Loss of interest in school, sports and peer related activities

Triumph Youth Services is licensed to provide residential treatment services for students up to their 21st birthday. The treatment team will assess each youth 18 years or older on a case by case basis to determine if they are an appropriate candidate and a safe fit for the program.
