Gratitude for a Great Treatment Facility
The following is a letter of thanks for recommending Triumph Youth Services…
I wanted to thank you for referring me to Triumph Youth Services in Brigham City, UT. You may not remember me but I called you last June to ask your advice about where I could send my son. He was doing drugs, stealing, failing school and all the counseling we were taking him for wasn’t working. At that point he was in trouble with the law for driving a car without a license and hitting a parked car and then fleeing the scene. After you recommended Triumph I immediately called Brenda at Triumph and she was wonderful. The judge dropped all the charges because we informed her that we were sending my son to Triumph the end of June and we did just that. A service came in the middle of the night to pick him up because we knew he would not go willingly. The staff at Triumph was so understanding and compassionate and kept in constant contact with us at all times. We went to go see him in February, right before his 17th birthday. The parent meetings were informative, emotional and inspirational. Triumph has worked with him diligently providing group therapy and individual therapy. He was able to make up school credits and is now graduating high school a year early! They also utilize animal therapy and they gave him a black Labrador retriever puppy to take home with him. He is training his puppy to hunt. He has learned so much since he’s been there and experienced so many things that he never would have experienced in any CT school. He is in the home stretch now and will be graduating the program and high school the beginning of May at Triumph. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sterling Lyman, Bruce Humphries, Nikki Jones and the rest of the staff at Triumph. They saved my son’s life. The owner/founder, Sterling Lyman organizes a trip each year at the end of June to Alaska on a two week expedition. The youth in the program along with their families are invited to go. They experience deep sea fishing in the pacific ocean, bear watching, hiking etc. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and we are sending our son this June. He’s going a week early with Sterling to help him set up before the rest of the group gets there. Sterling and Bruce have treated my son like their own and have taken him on trips with their family. I can go on and on, but I won’t. I just wanted to tell you how truly grateful I am that I found your website and you recommended the best treatment center for my son.
