Great Book and Resource Just got done reading a great book that I wanted to share with all of you. Many of you may have already heard of it. The Anatomy of Peace, Resolving the Heart of Conflict. This book was mentioned at our last parent weekend by one of the presenters, so I decided to pick up a copy and read it. It was great! This book is a useful tool for all parents, staff that work wtih youth, and overall society. It is focused on us looking at our self and how we may be contributing to conflict in this case with our teenage children. The book looks at several families in their “everyday” interactions with others and how their responses may provoke undesired results. It looks at the parents perspective of what it is like to have youth that are cuaght up in many of the same issues that you may be having with your own child. I highly recommend this book as a way to open the communication with you child and hopefully gain some insight into yourself in the process.
