Positive Peer Culture
Positive Peer Culture teaches and empowers students to confront negative behaviors, bring proper attention to good behaviors/actions, take accountability and create positive, healthy relationships with appropriate peers.
Staff and peer facilitated groups with topics such as skills development, issues, and feelings are provided on a daily basis through the Positive Peer Culture program. These groups are peer and staff driven and are designed to focus on program issues such as but not limited to: reporting to the group, program training, addressing specific goals, and reviewing program specific curriculum such as Seven Habits for Highly Effective Teens, 16-Steps for Discovery and Empowerment, and the12 steps.
