Student Angels for Christmas…
Triumph Youth ServicesAcademy believes that serving the community is not only good for people in need, but also good for our young men. We have found that serving others is an effective tool in our treatment program. It’s a beautiful thing to see. Our students come upon the realization that they benefit from giving as much or more than the recipients of their service. This year with the Christmas season upon us we chose to participate in “The Angels for Christmas” program. We were able to help 212 families, including 543 children by collecting food clothing and toys for the less fortunate.
Our students respond so well to serving in this way, that we have our own “Giving Tree”. The young men do the shopping for the needs of the families who’s names hang from the Christmas tree. The feeling of charity helps us all to understand the true meaning of Christmas.
“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another”
