The Value of Teamwork

It takes awhile for our students to become acclimated to life in our Treatment Facility. But when they do, everything starts to come together for them.

While they are working their individual program, they are making progress through the very personalized treatment that has been designed specifically for their needs. They also live and work along side their peers everyday, and begin to bond with one another, eventually forming a brotherhood. One of the ways we see this is when they are participating in team sports. Sometimes it might take our young men some time to realize that life is better when you can depend on someone to have you back!

This last week we won our Rugby match. One of our coaches had this to say; “Huge win today! Our boys have finally figured out what teamwork really is and the importance of playing for each other and looking out for each other.”

It’s a wonderful thing to see the transformations that take place here at Triumph Youth Services.
