Triumph launched Box Elder County’s first rugby program, now part of the Utah Youth Rugby Association and USA Rugby. The team brings together Triumph students and local youth, creating opportunities for connection and growth beyond the classroom.

Players compete in both full-contact 15-man rugby and 7s tournaments against community and high school teams. Participation requires maintaining academic standards and meeting team expectations throughout the season. Utah Youth Rugby’s strict Code of Conduct aligns closely with Triumph’s values, ensuring that character and sportsmanship remain top priorities.

Rugby provides a positive outlet for students to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and anger. Through the sport, they develop discipline, teamwork, resilience, brotherhood, patience, and humility—skills that serve them well both on and off the field.
