When to Intervene…
Most parentsgrandparents have a hard time making the decision whether or not their son has serious enough problems to put them into a program. Many times making poor choices and spending time with a rough crowd can be the beginning signs…When your life is disrupted frequently by emotional outbursts, anger and even sullenness, you need to take a closer look. Whether these disturbances are happening at school or in his behavior at home. They could all be symptoms of something more serious. Depression, a learning disability, or even addiction/substance abuse could be at the root of these behaviors. If your son is experiencing these changes, seek help, don’t put it off. All too often parents feel that it’s “just a phase”. In our experience it’s better err on the side of caution.
We here at Triumph Youth Services/Academy would be happy to talk to you at any time.
